• Recipient of the Nation’s Blue Chip Enterprise Initiative Award from the U.S. Chamber of Commerce.
• Recipient of Miami Herald’s Pacesetter Award.
• Awarded the President’s Excellence Award in Export from the U.S. Commerce Dept.
• Appointed to the Florida District Export Council (3 terms) by the U.S. Commerce Dept.
• Appointed as Chair of the DEC Alumni.
• Invited to the White House two occasions relating to the NAFTA Treaty.
• Authored numerous articles for industry trade journals and medical publications.
• Aquathin and management practices are key focus study in national college course entitled Small Business Planning & Management-Exporting.
